Guess what's the "in" thing for a bag hue. No less than the most girly of all shades - pink! As if to lure more all lady bagaholics out there, designer brands are bringing in the pink color this season. Some of the notable ones are from Mulberry, Gucci, Coach and Loewe.

As I've mentioned in my previous post, my recent visit at DFS Galleria lured me for an unxpected purchase. Initially, I intended to just roam around and have a look at the latest handbag collection of designer brands. However, when I passed by the store of Marc by Marc Jacobs, I simply can't resist this casual blue colored Pretty Nylon Max. It looks so perfect as a travel companion.
What I particularly liked about the bag is its light weight. The option to make it into a sling bag is an added bonus too. It's a limited edition, so if you want to carry a bag that differentiates you from the rest, this is a good choice. It's currently sold at S$330 in all Marc stores.

The Luggage Phantom in three classic colors...
The Bi-Cabas Tote (this can be a good work bag)
The well known Givenchy Pandora Bag. Now, this design is really catchy.
Bagaholics, which one drools you most?

Mulberry's most iconic bag landed on my hands!!! This is apparently my first bag reveal for the year 2012 - no less than Mulberry's Bayswater in Chocolate color. Touted as the brand's most recognizable design, the Bayswater is undoubtedly a classic piece that perhaps will last a lifetime. Thank you very much to my ever supportive and understanding husband for generously gifting me with this. What could be more delightful as an advance wedding anniversary gift than such a beautiful piece?! I'm more than overwhelmed.
The bag is made up of natural cowhide leather and features Mulberry's signature Postman's lock. It provides a space that's generous enough to carry a lot of stuff. Also, the internal belted sides are adjustable to suit your size needs. More than perfect for a work bag and shopping bag as well. It's currently priced at S$1690 at all Mulberry shops around the island.
This will be indeed a cherished addition to a (hopefully) growing collection. :-)

Dreams really do come true! And I couldn't be happier in making it happen at the most wonderful time of the year. Just before the year ends, I'm generously rewarding myself with a new "BFF". Thank you very much to a very kind colleague for doing such a great favor. The bag was purchased in London for there's no way I'm gonna buy a Chanel bag in Singapore for its uber expensive price. For bag hags out there, the best place to make a purchase for designer goods is still in Europe. The Chanel GST is currently selling in Singapore for SGD3900 while it only retails at GBP1550 in London (with the current exchange rate of 1GBP = SGD2.08, this would translate to a price of SGD3228.21) sans the tax rebate. Ergo, an additional 10.0 - 12.0% off this price is still due.
Thank you 2011, you've showered me with wonderful blessings! This one will definitely top the list! :-)

The Fall - Winter 2011 Kate Spade Mook is now available. I just got mine from Kinokuniya Bookstore and the bag design is so cute and girly! I can't get my eyes off it when I saw it online. Stocks are depleting so fast thus, if you intend to get yours do it soon.
It's a perfect casual, shopping companion!

Will you spend S$300 for a sandals? In my recent visit to the Philippines, I saw this Swarovski studded FitFlop at Rustan's Department Store worth that much. I thought it's simple yet elegant. I currently own 2 pairs of FitFlops and I love the comfort its giving my feet. But inspite of that, I won't shed this large sum of money just for additional crystals on it.
